Home Care is currently enjoying an incredible surge in popularity among Americans, for a simple reason. Home Care patients experience the best of both worlds - quality healthcare and all the comforts of their own home. There seems to be no foreseeable end to the Home Care boom, and industry experts are confident that Home Care will play an even greater role in the future of medicine, thanks in part to technological advances responsible for turning procedures once requiring a hospital stay into viable at home options.

SJ Nurses abides by the established Home Care standards as required by the Commission on Accreditation for Home Care. This accreditation from the Commission symbolizes the level of quality and excellence in our services.

People who may benefit from Home Health Care include:

• Those who have a child in need of care at home.
• Those who need to take a break from care giving.

Trust

Our entire health care team is licensed or certified, has completed a thorough application and screening process, and is professionally supervised. We are fully bonded and insured and each new staff member undergoes a state criminal background check.

In addition, our medical personnel go through a complete physical examination before beginning work for SJ Nurses. This safety check is conducted to ensure that they are physically qualified to meet any and all tasks associated with being a nurse or home health aide.

Taking the First Step

Nurse Recruitment

The US is in the midst of its most serious nursing shortage in decades. Traditional methods of nurse recruitment within our own country are simply not meeting demand, so we are turning to our international neighbors, and their wealth of qualified and enthusiastic nursing professionals, to fill the gap.

Overseas nurse recruitment in the US is directly addressing the crushing nursing shortage by helping to prevent hospitals and healthcare centers from becoming seriously understaffed and ill-prepared to care for those in need.

SJ Nurses recruits English-speaking BSN degree registered nurses from the Philippines. Nursing is an extremely popular career choice in the Philippines, leading to an excellent pool of qualified applicants. Filipino nurses have proven themselves to be compassionate and conscientious caregivers, who tend to their jobs with pride and carry out their duties with heartfelt care and concern. These nurses historically excel at their positions in the US and have earned the respect of physicians, patients, employers and peers alike.

Getting to the United States

SJ Nurses has been recruiting since 1984. We fully understand the recruiting process and will do our best to ensure an applicant's smooth transition to the US by handling all the details. We provide an immigration attorney to facilitate the immigration process, but our involvement does not end there. We communicate with the attorney, the client, the applicant, and our affiliate throughout the entire process. Successful applicants will be given an employment based "green card", permitting a foreign national to live and work permanently in the US. Of course, the applicant always has the option of obtaining your own immigration attorney. After the signing of an employment contract, it will take approximately one year before a nurse can begin work in the United States.
