Yes, our caregivers will be by your side whenever you need them 24/7.

Who are covered by our services?

a) Some who are recovering from an acute illness such as heart attack, surgeries, stroke, or accident.
b) Some who have chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, Alzheimer’s, cancer, AIDS, arthritis, developmental disabilities, and mental and/or physical handicap.
c) Some who are in need of long term or short term care.
d) Some who need to take a break from care giving.

How do I arrange for home care?

You, your family member or friend can call us. Our courteous and reliable staff will discuss your needs. We will consult your doctor before creating a plan that is comprehensive and cost effective. Our nursing supervisor will also explain your rights and responsibilities as a patient, the duties of our staff and our company policies.

How will I pay your company for my home care aide? Do I pay daily, weekly or monthly?

Our company will send a bill to you every week for the services rendered for the previous week. We expect the bill to be paid upon receipt of the bill.

Is there a minimum number of hours per day that a patient can engage the services of your home care aide?

We require a minimum of four (4) hours per day.

If for one reason or another, the patient does not like the nursing aide that the company sent to him, can he request for a replacement?

Yes, we will send a replacement as soon as practicable. We prefer that the patient will be at ease and comfortable with the nursing aide from our company.

If the nurse or aide causes any damage or loss to the patient’s property while he is in the home of the patient, will the company reimburse him for the damage or loss?

Yes, we are fully bonded and insured and our insurance coverage will take care of the reimbursement.

If a patient’s regular nurse or aide does not report for work on a particular day, will SJ Nurses send a replacement?

Yes, we will send a replacement as soon as possible. We will update the patient every hour on the same day of the status of the replacement.
